Sales Engineer

We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer for our ERP Solutions Department to add value throughout the sales process in the areas of; requirements analysis, solution architecture, in-depth product demonstrations and transition to professional services.  The Sales Engineer will form an integral part of the Sales Force providing in-depth knowledge of the Epicor ERP Solution to close sales opportunities.

As the successful candidate you will be able to quickly provide a quality service, delivering high levels of product and technical sales knowledge to prospective and current clients.  Your duties will also include (but not be limited to):

  • Clearly articulating the benefits of Epicor ERP and related products to prospective customers, including “C” level engagement.
  • Perform in depth, high impact product demonstrations.
  • Working with Sales to provide professional responses to RFI’s, RFP’s.
  • Working with Sales and Professional Services to determine innovative approaches for solving the customer’s requirements.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Epicor and related products by suggesting and developing product enhancements.
  • Develop and perform high-impact demonstrations of Epicor ERP software
  • Work closely with prospective clients, ascertaining needs and requirements to develop sales processes.

You will need:

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar sales engineering role supporting CRM, and or ERP.
  • Strong background in SCM and Retail will be viewed positively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Build successful client relationships
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively
  • Deliver engaging, informative, well-organised presentations
